About

Swansea’s indie rock trio

Blending noughties scuzzy indie rock with spoken word and razor-sharp lyricism, Trampolene have earnt a loyal following ever since their 2017 debut, Swansea to Hornsey.

As their first album noted, Jack Jones, Wayne Thomas and Kyle ‘Mr.’ Williams formed Trampolene in their home of Swansea – taking their name from a Julian Cope song. The friends moved to north London, and soon began sparking interest from artists such as Carl Barât and Caitlin Moran, after releasing their debut single ‘You Do Nothing for Me’ in 2013.

After a string of EPs, and gigging with the Buzzcocks and The Libertines, the band released Swansea to Hornsey in 2017, becoming a firm fixture in the Holloway Road indie scene of the time. The album included their first single, plus songs such as ‘Alcohol Kiss’ and ‘You Do Nothing For Me’.

Over the next couple of years, Trampolene began playing their largest-ever headline shows, while supporting Liam Gallagher at the Cardiff Motorpoint Arena in 2019, as well as releasing a double album compiling their EPs, Pick a Pocket or Two.

They released Love No Less Than A Queen in 2021, which included ‘Oh Lover’, ‘Gotta Do More Gotta Be More’ and their first spoken word song, ‘Come Join Me In Life’.

After several percussion changes over the years, original drummer Mr. Williams rejoined in 2022, just in time to headline the Swansea Arena for a special homecoming show in February. A year later they released their third studio album, Rules of Love & War, lead by the singles ‘Money’ and ‘Together’. It was a busy year for Trampolene, as they also announced the reissue of Swansea to Hornsey, and the publication of Jones’ novel of the same name.
