The Tumbling Paddies Tickets

Great band, great atmosphere. Southampton Guildhall could learn something about customer service though - the ticket said 7pm. Not 'Doors open 7pm' which was the case, except even that was late - so we spent extra money on parking which wasn't needed and stood in the cold for 25 minutes. No mention of a support act so when one appeared with no introduction, had no idea who they were - some people actually left because they thought it was the main act, and not what they'd expected! Acoustics were awful and couldn't hear a word from the singer(s) so can't comment on them, but they definitely seemed to know what they were doing with their instruments - would like to see/hear them again, so look out for Mega Sun Machine. As for The Tumbling Paddies -just awesome.

First time seeing this band, great vibe all night. Would have liked a few more Irish tunes although the covers were good.

the security was tight but very relaxed on entering the venue added to that a greats night of entertainment and would go here again as was made to feel very welcome

The Tumbling Paddies are a fabulous band. They hit the stage and were non-stop for two hours providing the crowd with a great performance of Irish music and some other popular numbers. They were dynamic and very tight together. Great musicians and if they get the support they deserve, they will go far. I was looking forward to this show but the band surpassed my expectations by a long way. I will certainly go back to see them again and would recommend buying a ticket to go and see them. They have a great live CD available 'The Journey So Far'. This is certainly worth buying or listening via download. This show was 10/10 and I can't recommend this band highly enough.
