Skipinnish is a traditional Scottish folk band formed by Angus MacPhail and Andrew Stevenson in 1999.
Hailing from Gàidhealtachd, the band sing in English and are known for hits such as 'Walking On The Waves', 'The Island' and a cover of Sugababes' 'About You Now'.

Good tiered seating for the vertically challenged and an excellent gig. Third time we've seen Skipinnish, Mish Mash in Tobermory, Anstruther pier and now Edinburgh castle. Looking forward to the Glasgow Hydro in 2025.

The event support team and security were superb too. Couldn't be more helpful. I admit I'd not heard of Skippinish till I saw a facebook ad forcthe gig and I'm so glad I did because they are fantasticly good. Loved the whole night. Definitely adding to the ipod list now. Ovo next year 😁😁
