One of Britain’s best loved comedians, Peter Kay, is finally returning to stand-up comedy after twelve years.
“It’s good to get back to what I love doing best, stand-up comedy and if there’s ever a time people need a laugh it’s now”
Peter’s 2010 tour still officially ranks with the Guinness Book of World Records as the biggest selling comedy tour of all time. Playing to over 1.2 million people.
Fantastic night from start to finish. Peter is a very talented person
After 3 yrs wait it was absolutely amazing show not disappointed once just as the title says a bottle of tonic what a pick me up. The arena was spot on straight away no queuing ie tickets food drinks toilets smoothly ran and organised nothing to much trouble definitely 5 stars treatment
So engaging, funny, what a performance, can't wait for his next show.
Booked tickets for this years ago but frustrated that the only way to access tickets is to be forced to load O2 app on my phone and pay £3 on each ticket for the privalege. Long queues for women's toilets into the corridors and a wait for 15 mins to get a bottle of water costing over £4! And they don't trust you to have the cap left on! This is excessive pricing, particularly when you have a captive audience not allowed to bring in food or drink. Peter Kay was great but the section with lasers pointed directly at the crowd resulted in a migraine that had me out of action for the next 12 hours. Pink lasers in your eyes doesn't enhance the comedy for me! Show was great despite the venue.
Went last night and it was brilliant, Not sure what I was expecting after seeing a few reviews online but I'm so glad I went to see it for myself. Peter was on top form and was a joy to watch. Some surprises thrown in and the blink and you miss it photo in the slides he shows of his nan was genius!
Brilliant was worth waiting nearly 3 years never laughed so much my face hurt.
Enjoyable evening. Possibly expected more new material, although coming out tied to 'balloons' was unexpected. Handled annoying noisy drunken chap in private balcony very well.
Peter kay was amazing. Second time seeing him and Still as funny as ever. Staff were helpful and friendly. Towards end People started leave and would stop on stairs when he came back out in front of people's seats that was annoying as I wanted stay till end and he told us that he had four parts hence why I stayed in my seat.
My wife & I attended the First Direct arena yesterday to see the Peter Kay show. We just wanted to contact you the say a massive thank you for all the help & understanding with getting us an accessible seat as my wife had to use a wheelchair. The staff were amazing, with a special mention to Ellie, for being so helpful getting us a suitable alternative to the seats that we had booked meaning that we could really relax & enjoy the show. Once again thanks & would have no hesitation in recommending the First Direct Arena to anyone with mobility issues. Goes without saying that the show was brilliant, we waited over 2 years from booking & it was worth the wait
Been watching Peter Kay on YouTube for a while now and saw he was touring! Booked tickets Imma for me and my boyfriend and we both enjoyed it so much, so much that we are planning to.book again for this year 🎊
Fantastic show. Peter Kay was brilliant. Have never laughed so much.
The show was great so well put together. Some surprises and some great classics from Peter
Absolutely fantastic. Exceeded all expectations and more! Fantastic ending to his show too! Would gladly watch again!
I laughed so much, it was such a tonic, your a star Peter Kay 👍x
Been waiting a long time to see Peter, really enjoyed the show,he didn't fail to make mine and my wife's sides hurt😂
Absolutely incredible night , full of laughter from start to finish , it's been along time waiting but was definitely worth the wait
Some great funny bits that made us laugh. Unfortunately the historic adverts went on too long.
Sound quality was very poor. I missed alot of the jokes as I just couldn't hear him. Very disappointed.
Absolutely fabulous night: Kept the audience entertained the whole night: Our whole experience was smooth from booking tickets (even though we have waited nearly three years) to actually getting to our seats all staff were very efficient and super organised: My only complaint would be maybe not allow people to take alcohol to their seats, we had a rowdy group behind us who were drinking bottles of wine from the bottle and at the end of the evening they up and left all the empty bottles for staff to collect .
At last after waiting over two years we got to see Peter Kay. What a great night he is so funny and well worth the wait. Well done to the arena staff who were polite and helpful.
