Irish One Direction star turned platinum-selling solo artist
Born in Mullingar, Westmeath, Irishman Niall Horan got his start in music when he learned to play an unwanted guitar that his brother got for Christmas. Following a promising start as a solo artist, Horan found fame at the age of 16 as a member of the hugely successful boy band One Direction. Following the band’s 2016 hiatus, Horan – who was one of the main songwriters in the band – followed the example of his bandmates and struck out on his own.
Horan’s first single This Town earned comparisons to chart-toppers such as Ed Sheeran, but his debut album, Flicker, found the singer-songwriter exploring more of a Laurel Canyon sound, inspired by the likes of The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac, and featuring a guest appearance from country phenomenon Maren Morris. It went straight to No.1 in Ireland, Canada and the US and was certified platinum in the US, Ireland, Canada and Norway.
In 2020, Horan released his second album, Heartbreak Weather, which went to No.1 in both the UK and Irish charts. Earning further comparisons to contemporary solo artists such as Sheeran and Shawn Mendes, the album cemented Horan as a promising act in his own right.
On 7 November 2020, Horan performed a livestream show from London's Royal Albert Hall, with proceeds going towards his touring crew and the #WeNeedCrew relief fund. “I know that live events are something we all miss,” Horan said, “and until we are able to return I want to highlight the incredible people who work in touring that make those events possible and whose livelihoods have been severely affected.”
In 2023, Horan became a judge on TV talent show The Voice. He announced his third album The Show preceding it with the single 'Heaven'. On St Patrick's Day 2023, Horan visited the White House to play the song for US President Joe Biden and Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar. A second single, 'Meltdown', followed in April 2023.
In May 2023, Horan announced a major return to UK stages with The Show: Live On Tour 2024 – his biggest tour yet and first headline run since 2018’s Flicker World Tour. He’ll be performing songs from all three of his solo albums, including The Show, which is released June 9 2023.
The world tour will kick off on February 21, 2024 in Belfast, UK at the SSE Arena. UK and Ireland dates then include Dublin, Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester and a show at London’s OVO Arena Wembley.

There’s nothing better than watching the crowd sing back to you with all that emotion on their faces and knowing that they’re attaching the song to something meaningful in their own lives. To me, that’s always the greatest thing that can ever come from songwriting.”

Niall is an amazing performer, so attentive to the crowd making sure security is getting to people if needed. His voice is beautiful and he's incredibly funny. Need more UK shows from him soon as I need to go again!
Myself & my sister seen Niall perform at Utilita arena in Newcastle. It was our first ever concert together & my first time seeing Niall in concert again since One Direction. It was such a good show, Niall is doing Phenomenal solo & I can't wait to see how else he progresses. Event was well organised & the tickets were easy to access. I can not wait to catch him on his next tour again hopefully!

I went to both Cardiff and Manchester N2 and had the best time of my life. Niall is a phenomenal performer. I'd recommend seeing him to anyone.
It was an amazing show, a very well-organized concert. It was easy and quick to find the line, we had VIP tickets with early entry, but it was clear that the entry process was well-organized for everyone. The atmosphere was incredible and very friendly, the best experience I've had at this event.

What a fantastic night. The opener was incredible and Niall never fails to put on a show. I wish I could relive this night over and over and attend another show !! Cannot wait for him to tour again, I will definitely get floor tickets next time
I went to the show live on tour twice and it has been the best experience I've ever experienced it will always be the best concert and Niall has done an amazing job putting on the show for us

One of my best concerts ever. Even my husband, who likes most rock and Metal liked it. Was in Munique in March and both gigs were very good but really different.

Del Water Gap kicked the gig off perfectly. First time I've heard them and I'll definitely be looking out for them on my streaming services. Niall was fabulous. Great interaction with the crowd. He can literally sing anything. He's a funny guy and comes across so down to earth. The impromptu special guest was amazing. Will be looking out for Isla in the future. Niall was surprised by her talent and allowed her to do her thing, he humbly stepped aside and let her shine. It was a fantastic evening from start to finish.highly recommend and will definitely go again. x

Absolutely amazing experience! The atmosphere in the arenas are fantastic, he was absolutely amazing when I went in March to Cardiff! Definitely worth going to!

I've been to see him twice this year, exactly 6 months between the 2. He just seemed to be so so much better and more confident as it went on. Been a directioner from day dot. He. is. incredible.

We found the venue alright, parked easily, or though it took abt 30mins to exit car park, it was to be expected with the amount of cars there, we've had same problem at other venues, but i do think they should review the exiting problems. As for our experience during show, seats were great, good visualbilty of stage, comfortable. When arriving we found the members of staff and security we spoke to were pleasent and helpful. Overall our visit was good and we thoroughly enjoyed Niall's show.
