MARK RADCLIFFE AND MARC RILEY IN CARRY ON AN AUDIENCE WITH MARK AND LARD
The 24th March 2004 saw the world heritage radio site of the ‘Mark and Lard Show’ come to an end with a resounding: ‘STOP…!’
Now fully twenty-one years later we can finally complete that catchphrase with an equally resounding: ‘…CARRY ON!’
Like the day Neil Armstrong stepped on to the moon (if you were born then, if not, skip this bit) or when Alan Bradley got run over by a Blackpool tram on Coronation Street (ditto) – everybody can remember where they were on that fateful day in Radio 1 history. Listening to the radio. Obviously.
Now, following high level negotiations after a chance meeting between Fat Harry White and Scoff Cruddle at a Bedford Rascal Enthusiasts rally, Mark and Marc have been coaxed back to wrestle once again on the sheepskin rug of light entertainment.
The ordeal will begin at 7.30 pm assuming everyone gets their act together.

A brilliant show which brought back amazing memories and had me laughing from start to finish. Brilliantly put together and great to see them both back together. Obvious chemistry & rapport was still there
The lads were on top form, but unfortunately many of the clips were inaudible due to the poor house PA system.
Ahhhhhhh, the memories. This worked so well. Funny and took us back to a less pressured time. Really good gig
Great show full of nostalgia to my early radio listening days. Great chat. Could maybe add a Q&A to it but that's just being picky.
There were loads of funny interesting stories, great music and all round a good time. Yes, it is a bit nostalgia but it does give a deeper understanding of a partnership and programme that have had a lasting impact and not just on BBC compliance training.
