About

See The O's this season

London’s second oldest football club, Leyton Orient is one steeped in a rich history. At its the heart is its East London community.

Founded in 1881 as the Glyn Cricket Club, "The O's" began playing football as Orient in 1888 and joined the London League in 1896 after huge success in the Clapton & District League. Two years later they adopted the name Clapton Orient and were elected into the Football League in 1905.

The club has recently been crowned 22/23 Sky Bet League Two Champions, capturing the imagination of our supporters – with full stadiums, a complete sell-out of all three playing shirts, and record sales of season cards for our upcoming campaign in Sky Bet League One for the 23/24 season.

Situated in the heart of London’s East End, Brisbane Road has undergone many changes since Orient's arrival.

Previously known as Osborne Road and the home of Leyton F.C, it initially only had one stand (known as "the orange box") on the east side that held 475 people, nowadays our 9,241 all-seater stadium can be heard from the surrounding areas of Leyton.

The area is now set for a widespread regeneration, including a large number of new apartments, situated very close to the stadium, which will see thousands of new residents move into the area and call the home of Leyton Orient Football Club their home.
