  • A must for music lovers!!!!

by Terrie on 26/06/2024Rating: 5 out of 5

IOW festival is a must for anyone who loves music. There is something for everyone here and it's so family friendly. If you want to be in the mosh pit that's fine if you've smaller children or prefer to relax and dance along, then further back is good. Please don't think the people at the back won't enjoy it as much. The sound is amazing and the big screen shows all you want to see. The only problem you'll have is trying to choose who to see!! Amazing for young and old.

  • Great weekend

by Parfs on 26/06/2024Rating: 4 out of 5

This is my third time going, this year there were far more security staff searching, which is good but it still caused major queues. And the organising of the seating areas near the bar area needs a major review. Every time people moved from/to the main stage there was a MASSIVE bottle neck and I'm surprised there were not any Injuries! Or fights! Make more room for people coming and going please. But the campsites like the respect one were very well organised and toilets well maintained. Maybe a couple of showers would help in these smaller areas? But well done for the rest. Will be there again.

  • Great weekend

Well organised, toilets cleaned regularly, easy parking, good food options. And the music was amazing.

  • Great family festival but too many chairs!!

by Madi on 25/06/2024Rating: 3 out of 5

I love the IOW festival, this year was my 7th IOW. There are a variety of acts, places to eat and entertainment. As well as multiple options for camping. My biggest peeve with this festival is the amount of chairs and mini camps people create near the main stage. This year a line was maintained with no chairs past a certain point, but this pushed chairs and picnic blankets into the far side and main eating area. Making access and egress from the main stage very difficult. I worry that if the site had to be evacuated in an emergency the amount of chairs and trollies would prevent a safe exit. I know event staff increase costs, and how do you police this sized event? This has only become a real issue in the last two years, so will likely get worse. There is increased seating areas provided by the organisers, which is great for grabbing food, but sadly this year many people set up camp there for the whole day, adding picnic chairs and limiting seating for others.

  • Very slightly disappointed

by Jackie on 25/06/2024Rating: 4 out of 5

Fesrival was generally great, but would hve liked to see a few more current 'big' headliners... rather than 'old' not amazing ones. Plus the 'Old Mout' bar was not thwre this year, which had provided lots of entertainment last year. However it was great to see Beverley knight ( yes i know 'older' ... but still current. And loved the Boolleg Beatles and 'Picture This'.

  • Always a great festival. But the TOILETS.SHOCKING

by Wizardrob on 25/06/2024Rating: 3 out of 5

Always a great festival. Been there 15 years now and always enjoyed it rain or shine. The Festival entrances are now so much better than ever before organized and user friendly. BUT THE TOILET que this year was an absolute nightmare. Putting up barriers to stop you going in then leaving one tunnel to get out. I HAVE NEVER experienced anything like it in all my years. It certainly wasn't safe trust me. At one stage it took my half an hour to actually get out. You are causing an accident waiting to happen it's just lucky that the people there are friendly enough in the main not to push and all be patient. Stupid please sort it.

  • Brilliant

by Landra on 25/06/2024Rating: 5 out of 5

What a fantastic festival. Not necessarily my type of music- No current music-unless theme this year was 90s white pop. Negatives Price of food and alcohol Selection of alcohol No mirrors in male/female changing areas Positives Overall organisation Campsite - Moonlight Meadows great No crime observed Family friendly Will definitely come again!!!

  • Well organised , clean, nothing particularly "grimey"

by Blarney on 25/06/2024Rating: 5 out of 5

Middle aged and middle class but that's what you expect. Bands exceptional. Fits what I want out of a festival "these days"

  • Once again a great experience

by RB on 25/06/2024Rating: 5 out of 5

Headline acts - brilliant once again Toilets - in general very good, however at peak times more staff were required at the two toilet areas near the main stage to monitor things as regularly ran out of paper and soap Chairs - as a non chair user, the white line rule was great to help kerb this increasing issue. I think the line should be moved backwards next year. Blanket camps - a few more staff required to ask these camps to clear blankets, especially later in the day. Before Sunday's two headliners the blanket camps were about 3 or 4 deep at the back of the front section (in front of the moving camera rails). Alcohol into Electric Ladyland - in first 24 hours security weren't allowing alcohol in from the co-op side. This meant those camping in areas after EL couldn't take alcohol to their tent. This policy changed on day two. So just better communication to security please.

  • Isle of Wight Festival

    by Darren B on 25/06/2024Rating: 5 out of 5

Best experience you can go to, amazing line up and great planned event, well organised, gets very busy, recommend getting to the main stage with plenty of time in hand before the act you wish to see, however its not too manic that you can easily work your way through the crowd to be close up and personal, most acts are not big headed and just want to have a good time and entertain... 5 stars

  • Great line up, fantastic weather, awesome

by MSP on 25/06/2024Rating: 4 out of 5

IOW made this very easy from entering car park, setting up tent and generally wandering around. Headlines were super music and acts awesome. Let down moments paying for the washroom complete disaster waste of money took ages to use the shower which ended up being mixed not great for my 12 year old granddaughter. Dispensing body wash would have been helpful. Toilets were not great the public ones were better, no loo roll or flush !!!!!! Totally oversubscribed and a total rip off.

  • Wonderful - great music line up, sunny, well organised

    by Steve@Festival on 25/06/2024Rating: 5 out of 5

Excellent festival. Line up was superb and did not disappoint, Green Day, Crowded House, Keane, The Pretenders, Johnny Marr, Pet Shop Boys, Toyah & Robert. Perfect sunny weather. Clean well organised, friendly. Big Green Coach worked well. Pink Moon was good.

  • The reason you go to the IOW

    by Grumpy53 on 25/06/2024Rating: 5 out of 5

A thoroughly enjoyable family weekend with a brilliant soundtrack of music. Yes there were broken tent poles but initiative shown to resolve & all happily under cover & yes toilets were busy, busy, busy but what do you expect! Hats off to Love Your Tent for the excellent facilities they provide

  • Had the most amazing weekend!

by Ged on 25/06/2024Rating: 4 out of 5

The acts were all awesome but Cian stole the show. His voice is amazing. The site is huge and we did over 40,000 steps in 2 days so comfy foot wear is advised. Toilets were really clean and toilet rolls replaced regularly. Lots of food options including veggie, vegan, gluten free etc.

  • Chilled Out Weekend and Experience!

by CharlieD on 25/06/2024Rating: 5 out of 5

First time for me at a festival, and what a great festival it was. Great line up, great place and the people were fab. Such a range of ages from families with small children, older couples, family groups and groups of friends of all ages - and everything in between! Great friendly chilled atmosphere throughout the whole event. Would definately recommend this festival for anyone. First time I have ever been away for a few days and felt completely relaxed. A great way to spend a long weekend and such a great range of music with options for everyone!

  • Absolutely amazing

by Grizz on 25/06/2024Rating: 5 out of 5

A fantastic weekend of music. The organisation and logistics were very good and the music line up brilliant. There was a good variety of food and drink and of course the weather was glorious which made the weekend special. This was our first trip to the festival and we will definitely be booking up again for next year. Well done to the organisers!!!!

  • Favourite Festival

by Kurlie on 24/06/2024Rating: 5 out of 5

Love this festival .. well organised with great music all weekend. Brilliant family festival for all ages .. so many festival goers loyal to the festival and the island .. who go year on year .. another really busy year! Sad to see no Strongbow or Old Mout this year but Kasmir & Intoxicated tearooms always a great atmosphere as well as Hipshaker. Good to not have the base from rides at the main stage but it was still a bit of an issue at the big top. Also loved River stage and some great music coming from 'the feeling' tent. With the warm weather the screen outside the big top is great but could show all the bands throughout the day. Line for chairs is brilliant (not beyond this point) although a bit frustrating when there are plenty of gaps left between chairs and the chair brigade get funny when you decide to prop up your chairs near them …. when tents are crammed in any space back in purple haze with no questions, be hospitable and spread the festival love around the chairs :) lol Toilet queuing .. the exit entry fencing by the stage worked out well on Sunday, security deserve a medal around the main stage loos. Loos always clean and well stocked .. loo attendants also deserve a medal! Love the atmosphere and the line up this year as we do every year .. Roll on 2024.

My 11th Isle of Wight festival and it never disappoints. I do miss the chillis, foos and no Gallaghers this year, but still brilliant. Great to boogie with iow friends. Can't wait for 2025
