The 40th Anniversary Tour

Scottish pop band Hue and Cry will be embarking on a special 40th Anniversary Tour in 2024 to commemorate their outstanding four-decade legacy. Brothers Patrick and Gregory Kane are set to take fans on a nostalgic journey through their illustrious career, delivering unforgettable performances with their full band.

Since bursting onto the music scene in the 1980s, Hue and Cry have left an indelible mark on the UK music scene with their soulful sound, infectious energy, and thought-provoking lyrics. Their earlier albums, 'Seduced and Abandoned' and 'Remote', launched a lengthy career during which they have continued to captivate audiences with huge hits including 'Labour of Love', 'Looking for Linda', and 'Ordinary Angel.'

The 40th Anniversary Tour promises to be a celebration like no other, featuring a carefully curated setlist that spans the entirety of Hue and Cry's amazing career. With soulful vocals, impeccable musicianship, and undeniable chemistry on stage, the band will transport audiences back in time where fans can expect to hear their favourite songs as well as a few surprises making this tour an unforgettable experience.

As part of the 40th anniversary celebrations, throughout 2024 Hue and Cry will be continually releasing a carefully curated selection of rare material from their personal archive along with accompanying memorabilia and commentary. These will be a must-have for fans and collectors alike, offering a glimpse behind-the-scenes from the band's early years and all the way through their 40 years of success.

Patrick Kane said “We’re kind of pinching ourselves - is that really 40 years of music-making?! The calendar doesn’t lie! But we are overjoyed to be celebrating it with all of you at these gigs. There’s four decades of creativity, love and tears we’ll be exploring each night. Just like our beloved audiences, we’re in it for the long haul. Here’s to the next forty years!”

Gregory Kane added “Oh my, 40 years of Hue and Cry. Of course, this was the plan all along, we’ve both played a blinder and I’m sure we could manage another few decades of musical mischief with no bother! We’re really looking forward to these shows.”

Don't miss the chance to be a part of this historic milestone as Hue and Cry embark on their 40th Anniversary Tour. Join Patrick, Gregory and their full band in celebrating four decades of musical brilliance and experience the magic of their iconic music live on stage.

  • They still have it!!

by Trina on 11/11/2024O2 Shepherds Bush Empire - LondonRating: 5 out of 5

Well, the guys still have it. From the classics to some more rare tunes, crowd participation & introductions they had it all!! The sound was amazing. The O2 Shepherds Bush Empire is a good venue but needs some serious updating. That didn't stop this gig leaving a pleasant memory for my husband(lifelong fan of Hue and Cry)& myself. Enjoyable & left us wanting more...The brothers Kane truly have outdone themselves. Looking forward to the next tour (after a break,of course!!).

Hue and Cry are one of the best live acts we have seen .. Pat's superb vocals, Greg's keyboards and the warm banter with the audience provide the perfect blend for an amazing evening ... Equally brilliant on their own or performing with their very accomplished band ... I recommend everyone to see them

  • Wow 40 years

Great performance by the brothers and with the full band it gave it that big sound My only criticism would be the lighting as the singer moved around the stage into some darker areas and seemed to sing to the audience in the pits, all we could see was a shiny bald head The music nostalgic and transformed me back to my youth Great night hope to see them again soon

  • Hue and Cry at Tramshed

by Cat on 05/11/2024Tramshed - CardiffRating: 5 out of 5

Tramshed is one of my favourite venues to watch bands as its compact and easy to get a good view. Third time seeing Hue and Cry and always enjoy. Vocally and musically excellent 👌

Excellent evening, Pat's voice was amazing as usual. Band were so tight - sounded just like listening to the original album tracks. Really good to see Pat and Gregory enjoying themselves. Thanks for a great night.
