Paul Fisher, best known by just his surname, is an Australian DJ, producer and former World Qualifying Series professional surfer.

Born on the Gold Coast in 1976, he began earning recognition for his infectious tech-house tracks as one half of Cut Snake, before releasing his first solo single 'Ya Kidding' in 2017. Since then Fisher has dominated the global festival circuit with megahits such as 'Ya Kidding' and the Grammy-nominated 'Losing It'. The latter was the DJ's first US No.1, though a year later in 2019 'You Little Beauty' followed suit.

In 2023 Fisher released the singles 'Take It Off' and 'Atmosphere'. In November he announced a show at Cardiff's Bute Park in summer 2024.

    We were lucky to have great weather and music in the lovely Gunnersbury park. Fisher's performance was reasonable overall (despite dj set being below average, but the visuals and firework were pretty good). Purple Disco was very good, whilst Vintage Culture absolutely smashed it! Overall it was a great day.

    We went to see Purple Disco Machine, bought VIP tickets (mainly for the toilets), lovely VIP area in the shade. Lots of food choices, bar queues not too bad. Great atmosphere, lots of security staff. Purple Disco Machine 💜
