  • Dylan John Thomas gig - Birmingham

by Birdo on 16/12/2024Birmingham XOYO - BirminghamRating: 5 out of 5

We arrived after the support to a packed out OXYO in Digbeth, Birmingham. The crowd were already hyper for Dylan whilst football chanting his name, which I thought was funny as they sung with a Brummie/Scottish accent. Dylan & his band came on stage to a raucous crowd & he cleverly opened up with 'Jenna' , he then followed with his catchy plethora of hits with a glint in his eye & some natty guitar playing. The crowd were singing along to every tune, Dylan even threw in a curveball with his take on Mama Mia, which was very surprising. All in all a fabulous night with a very talented Dylan. Please come back to Birmingham !

Brilliant shows and buzzing crowds! And very reasonably priced. Have seen him now at 5 different venues over the past few years and he never fails to move the crowd. Such an unbelievable talent, will no doubt be up there with Scotland's best very soon!!

One of the best gigs I've been to for atmosphere. I've seen Dylan a few times now and it's always unreal. Can't wait to go again at the Hydro!

  • Blown Away

by Sarah Lou on 24/07/2024Rating: 5 out of 5

Wow Dylan John Thomas unexpectedly blew me away at TRNSMT! Had never heard of him but I felt so intrigued and mesmerised by his lyrics and music I just knew he'd lived quite a life in his short 27years! What a story he tells. Ironically I work with children in care which might explain why I felt the connection but just WOW!! Possibly his oldest fan at 53 years old!!
