Outdoor concert series in Cheshire

Our concert arena at Delamere Forest is a natural amphitheatre in the largest woodland area in Cheshire. Delamere Forest sits on the Cheshire Plain, nestled between Manchester, Liverpool and Chester. The forest is mix of Conifer and Broadleaf woodland attracting over 750,000 visitors per year.

2024 marked the first year of the new partnership between Forestry England and promoters Cuffe & Taylor to bring even more world renowned artists to the Forest Live series. Delamere Forest welcomed more than 30,000 fans across the week with headliners Becky Hill, Sting, Nile Rodgers & CHIC and Bryan Adams.

Delamere Forest is located in the heart of Cheshire within easy reach of Chester, Liverpool and Manchester. Search for postcode CW8 2HZ to find your quickest route. When you get close to the venue, please turn your Sat Nav off and follow the yellow event signage as the event will be using different car parks and entrances to normal.

Getting there

All Delamere Forest Live car parks open at 4:30pm.Parking costs £10 per car in advance or free for Forestry England members. If you plan on arriving by car, a parking space must be booked in advance, alongside admission tickets. 

Accessible Blue Badge Parking can be booked online. (same charges apply). 

Subject to availability, limited parking may be available on the day at a cost of £18, payable on arrival (card payments only). 

Travel in a greener way with our return Shuttle Bus service to Forest Live at Delamere Forest costing £9 per person. Advance booking is essential.

The pick up and drop off points on this route are:-

·         Chester Bus Interchange – Stand N

·         Boughton Bridge Inn - Tarvin Road, outside the Bridge Inn Public House.

Delamere Forest Shuttle Bus Return: from Northwich

The pick up and drop off points on this route are:-

·         Northwich Bus Interchange – Stand F

·         Castle Blue Barrel - Chester Road - Outside the Blue Barrel Public House.

·         Hartford Shops – Chester Road, near Abbey Lane.

·         Opposite Sandyway Premier Inn – Chester Road - opposite Premier Inn/Blue Cap * Please note parking at the Premier Inn is for residents only.

You may choose to join the shuttles at any of these points.

Shuttle buses will run regular journeys between 16:00 to 19:30.

After the concert, shuttle buses will start running once the show has finished. You are required to be at the pick-up point within 30 mins of the concert ending.

If you require a wheelchair space on the coach or shuttle bus to this Forest Live event, please email customerrelations@forestryengland.uk as soon as possible to arrange this. Wheelchair space is subject to availability.

The nearest train station is Delamere (Manchester to Chester line), 10 minutes' walk from the arena. For train times check National Rail

Only pre-booked taxis will be allowed on site, we do not have a taxi rank of cars waiting for passengers. Make sure you’ve considered your return journey before arriving and book in advance.

The drop off and pick up point is in Whitefield car park located off the B5152. To avoid the main traffic we would advise accessing the drop off/pick up point from the direction of Hatchmere. The drop off and pick up point uses a different entrance to the main concert car parks so please follow the yellow signage. The drop off and pick up point is approx 20 minute walk from the concert arena along a dedicated lit forest track. We advise that you wear suitable clothing and footwear.  Customers with additional access needs should see venue accessibility information.

How can I book an accessible ticket?

Please read the Access Statement.

To book a personal assistant ticket, or viewing platform or accessible grass viewing area places, request an approved account in advance by completing this request form.

If you only require accessible blue badge parking this can be booked online alongside your tickets, subject to availability, without an approved account (A blue badge should be shown on arrival at the venue). 

Accessible Arena Information

A raised accessible viewing platform is provided for customers who are wheelchair users, or who have health conditions or other disabilities where they have to remain seated for long periods of time. This is situated 50m from the accessible entrance on natural grass. There is an incline up a slope to the platform. The platform is located approximately 75m from the stage.  All places on the accessible viewing platform must be pre-booked. The platform has a non-slip surface and is double level, with access ramps. 

A grass viewing area is provided alongside the raised platform for customers who have health conditions or other disabilities and need a less crowded area and access to the accessible toilets.The grass surface will be un-even. Due to the topography of Delamere this area is not recommended for wheelchair users.  Wheelchair users should book space on the raised viewing platform.  

There will not be an unrestricted sight line of the stage in the grass viewing area, as there will be customers in front of the grass viewing area who are likely to be standing up.  All places in the grass viewing area must be pre-booked. 

Registered assistance dogs are permitted, but the live sound may disturb them. No other dogs are allowed on site.

Lasers and strobe lighting may be used as part of the performance.

Concerts will go ahead regardless of weather, except in extreme conditions where the venue is deemed unsafe or unfeasible to hold the event.

We advise all customers to wear suitable clothing and footwear for an outdoor event. Unfortunately, we do not permit umbrellas to be taken into the arena. We recommend bringing a raincoat.

Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 and over who has their own ticket.

Children age 2 and under do not require a ticket to attend the event. All other children must have a paid ticket to attend.

You are welcome to bring picnics (in both the main arena and the Glade VIP area), but please check the terms and conditions carefully as items including glass, tables, metal cutlery, breakable crockery and more are not permitted in any part of the arena.

  • No more than 1 litre of soft and/or alcoholic drink per person (e.g. 3 x 330ml cans or 2 x 440ml cans)
  • All drinks must be in sealed and unopened cans only
  • Drinks in plastic/glass bottles, wine boxes, cartons or any other format are not permitted.

Empty refillable water bottles are encouraged provided they contain no liquids on entry (bottles can be filled at drinking stations inside the venue).

Certain items are not allowed in any part of the arena for both the audience and the artist's safety and comfort. It is essential that you check the terms and conditions for the complete list of prohibited items.

Prohibited items include:

  • Trollies
  • Umbrellas and parasols
  • Tables
  • Glass of any kind including bottles and jars
  • Breakable crockery
  • Metal cutlery
  • Drinks in plastic/glass bottles, cartons or wine boxes are not allowed. (only cans are allowed 2 x 440ml or 3 x 330ml per person)

There is no re-admission once you have left the venue, except due to medical exemption or a medical emergency.​​​​​

Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 and over who has their own ticket. Children aged 2 and under do not require a ticket to attend the event. All other children must have a paid ticket to attend There is a minimum ratio of one adult per four children (under 16).

The concert arena opens at approximately 5pm. We will publish stage times on this website closer to the time of the event, all timings are approximate.

Concerts normally finish between 10.30pm and 10.45pm. Live music will not continue beyond 11pm.

Forestry England Customer Relations are available Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (plus Saturday and Sunday 9am - 5pm during concert weekends)
