The Comedy Garden comes to Cambridge

Our all-star bill heading to the Big Top this summer brings you the inimitable Frankie Boyle, Off Menu’s Ed Gamble, Taskmaster icons Sam Campbell and Lucy Beaumont, plus Nish Kumar, Alan Davies, Dylan Moran, Bridget Christie, Sarah Keyworth, and many (many) more.

This five-night comedy extravaganza debuted just last year in Cambridge. A series of quality mixed-bill shows, featuring the absolute best names in comedy, combined with a choice selection on the bars and street food from the leading lights of the local scene.

    First issue is the show start time was not on the ticket, shows doors opening only. Sound wasn't great couldn't hear some of the comedians. Chairs sooo uncomfortable. Good atmosphere inside and outside the tent. Ushered around quite well and lots of food option choices. Horrible portaloos - there are nicer options available. Why oh why are these horrible loos provided. Yuck! Drinks so expensive would have brought more if sold at a reasonable price and not ripped off.

    A comedy festival in Cambridge City Center, with a good atmosphere and varied lineup. Compere was great. Book early for the best seats. Food and drink expensive, and cans only at the bar, so eat in the city center first as you can't go in and out. Seats very close together. But otherwise a fun night.
