If you are looking for our VAUXHALL location, the address is:
6 South Lambeth Pl, London, SW8 1SP
(two minute walk from the Vauxhall tube, train & bus station, right under the bridge)
If you are heading to our PECKHAM Pop Up, the address is:
212, Archway, 24 Blenheim Grove, London SE15 4QL
(45 second walk from the Peckham Rye station in Dovedale’s Café)
Yes, the Vauxhall venue is wheelchair accessible. Please contact Big Belly in regard to other pop up venues in advance on hello@bigbellycomedy.club so they can brief the staff and ensure you are accommodated.
All seating is unallocated and large groups should come early if you would like to sit together. Big Belly can’t guarantee large groups arriving late will be able to sit together.
If the comedian hasn’t asked you a question, any sort of yelling out, talking amongst yourselves or distracting behaviour during the performance is considered heckling. It distracts the comedians and the other audience members, so please don’t do it. Big Belly may ask you to leave if you disrupt the performance.
Below is a quick flow chart to if you’re allowed to shout something out:
Did the comedian ask you a question?
If ‘Yes’ then you can (and should) respond!
If ‘No’ then you should not. It’s pretty easy when you get the hang of it.
A free drink (single souse spirit & mixer, small glass of house wine, a can of cider or beer, or any soft drink) is included with all midweek show tickets. You must sign up to The Big Belly loyalty card scheme (it’s free & takes two minutes to do).
The atmosphere at Big Belly is super light-hearted and friendly but stand-up comedy can be an interactive experience, so if you don’t want any comedians to chat to you, bring a large A3 sign that says “Please do not talk to me”. Alternatively, look to take a seat further back in the audience.
